Save Sri Lanka

Drop the political view you have been carrying over your head for generations and your parents have implanted on you. The longer you see things through a coloured spectacle, the more you and this entire country suffer the consequences of illogical and irrational decisions you take towards your own benefit, say your belly and bellies waiting to be fed. Learn to accept the reality based on evidences and through logical analysis. Loosen the clasp you have set on politicians and parties. Because neither of which has proven evidently that they are capable of filling anyone's table for dinner.

Don't be a proud culprit of pushing this whole nation towards one burning hell, which you have been repeating for years, may be decades, as a result of blindly following a pointless political view. Plenty of similar examples can be dug up from the recent past, which supplement this scenario, and for doing so you have paid the price anyway. If people are the ultimate entity that pays for it, then there is no use cheering for 225 members who keep wasting the country's resources. Your stupid devotion is their food.

However it is evident with great enthuse, your poor and lame thinking has always been looking forward to feed the justification of thousands of wrongs, weighing more on some positive deeds done by politicians in the past. Generations past, this has now settled deeply in the blood in such a way where you see blacks as whites, and nobody bothers to change it while expecting a true change. Sri Lanka doesn't require the expertise in politics for which has done nothing much so far throughout the span of 70 years. It's high time this country as one must work together for re-establishing and strengthening its core pillars that holds the nation; democracy, economics and law and order, and to appoint a leader followed by a productive crew to make sure the country moves forward with dignity and prosperity.

Remember, "when the country runs backwards, despite who rules it, it drags you with it". It is time to take grounded decisions and valid actions to end this cycle of transferring power between two parties as per your personal interest. Your personal interest is not everyone's cup of tea. Therefore on social media networks as well as in real life, behave like educated humans being who have a brain. At the end of the day there is nothing to be proud of looking at the idiots in the parliament. It represents you and your idiocy. Therefore in the next term, if you remain to select at least 100 people out of those who raise hell inside the parliament, you make sure this country will stay doomed for eternity.

සිංහල භාෂාවේ අවසානය

සිංහල භාෂාව ද මියැදෙන්නේ වර්තමානයේ වසංගතයක් සේ ව්‍යාප්ත වී ඇති නිශ්ඵල ප්‍රවණතා වලින් විය හැක. මන්ද යත් වර්තමානයේ දී විවිධාකාර වූ විද්‍යුත් සහ ප්‍රසිද්ධ මාධ්‍යයන් ඔස්සේ පවා විලාසිතාවකට මෙන් භාෂාව මරා හසුරුවන පිරිසක් බිහි වී සිටීමත් එවන් පුද්ගලයන්ගේ භාෂා විලාසය පමණක් නොව එලෙස විකෘති කළ භාෂාව පවා අනුගමනය කරන පිරිස් ද වසංගතයක් සේ ඉහළ යමින් පැවතීමත් ය. මේ නිසා නුදුරු අනාගතයේ දී විකෘති වූ සිංහලක් සාමාන්‍යකරණය වී පොදු ව්‍යවහාරික භාෂාව බවට පත් වී කෘත්‍රිමව පරිණාමනයකට බඳුන් වනු ඇත. කාලයත් සමග භාෂාව ද පරිණාමනය වේ. නමුත් අවිචාරවත් අසික්ෂිත පරිණාමනයකට මග නොපෑදිය යුතුය. අද බොහෝ දෙනාගේ මුවග රැඳී ඇති, සැණෙන් එළියට පනින බොහෝ වචන මෙලෙස විකෘති කරන ලද භාෂා විලාසයන් වී ඇත. ඉන් බහුතරයක් ටෙළි නාට්‍ය, සමාජ ජාල, සහ ජනප්‍රියත්වය, විනෝදය සහ මුදල් තකා ශ්‍රව්‍ය දෘශ්‍ය නිර්මාණ පළ කරන ඈයන්ගේ මාර්ගයෙන් සිදු වී ඇත; සිදු වෙමින් පවතී. මේවා ඉවක් බවක් නැතිව ඇසෙන පළියට භාරගෙන දෛනික ව්‍යවහාරයේ යෙදවීමෙන් නොදකින විනාශයක් භාෂාව පසින් සිදු වෙමින් පවතී.

මීට සරිලන හොඳම උදාහරණය නම් "එළකිරි" යන භාවිතයයි. අද බොහෝ පිරිස් මේ වචනය භාවිතා කරන්නේ එහි අදාල තේරුම ඉස්මතු කිරීමට නොව "නියමයි", "මරු", "හරි" ආදී වචන භාවිතා කළ යුතු අවස්ථාවන් වලදීය. තවත් මෙලෙස සමාජගත වී ඇති වචන බෙහෙවින් ඇත. කුණුහරුප ද අද නව්‍යකරණය වී කිසිදු විළි ලැජ්ජාවකින් තොරව ප්‍රසිද්ධියේ පවා භාවිතා කළ හැකි මට්ටමකට පත්ව ඇත. ඊට ද හොඳම උදාහරණය සියළු "අම්මට" කියා ඇරඹෙන පරුෂ වචන "ට" යන්නෙන් නැතිනම් "ටෞ" ලෙස අරඹා ප්‍රකාශ කිරීමයි. ප්‍රවණතාවන් වලට ගැතිවී ඒවායේ වහලුන් වී විනෝදය උදෙසා මවා ගත් පෞරුෂයක් ගොඩනගා ගෙන ඇත්තේ මෙලෙසිනි. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් භාෂාව කරනා කාර්‍යභාරය ඉහළ වන අතර එයින් භාෂාවට සිදු වන හානිය ද ඉහළය. තවමත් අධ්‍යක්ෂ වෙනුවට අධ්‍යක්ෂක යන්න භාවිතා කරනා ප්‍රවීණයන් ද බොහෝමයකි.

යමෙකු වහරේ එන පරිදි රජා මැරූ විට එහෙමත් නැත්නම් තේරෙන භාෂාවෙන් කියතොත් මෙරට ප්‍රධාන භාෂාව නොවන ඉංග්‍රීසිය වරදා කතා කල විට එහි වැරදි නිවැරදි කිරීමට බොහෝ දෙනා පෙළඹුන ද සිංහල භාෂාව හිතා මතාම කරන මැරීම නිවැරදි කිරීමට කිසිවෙකු ඉදිරිපත් නොවනවා සේම එය කටින් කට, අතින් අත වාචිකවත්, ලිඛිතවත් උජාරුවෙන් සමාජගත කිරීමට පෙළඹෙන පිරිස් සංඛ්‍යාව ඉතාමත් ඉහළ මට්ටමක පවතී. කොටින් ම කියතොත් භාෂාව පිළිබඳව හැඟීමක් නැති අතර මව් භාෂාවවත් නිවැරදිව භාවිතා කිරීමට දැනුමක් නැත.

බටහිර භාෂාවන් හිස් මුදුණෙහි රඳවා ගෙන මව් භාෂාව අමතක කිරීමට කිසිවෙකු පසුබට නොවන්නේ ද මේ නිසාවෙනි. සිංහල භාෂාව පරිහරණය ලැජ්ජාවට කරුණක් ලෙස ඔවුහූ සලකති. ඉදින් බටහිර රට වලට යන බොහෝ දෙනාට සිංහල අමතක වේ. ලංකාවේ ද සිංහල පවුල් වල හැදී වැඩී සිටින්නන් එකිනෙකා හමු වූ විට ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් දොඩමළු වෙයි. ඊට හේතුව සිංහල පවුල් වුව ද නිවසේ ඉංග්‍රීසිය රජ කිරීමයි.

ලිඛිත මාධ්‍ය තුළ හැරුණු විට විද්‍යුත් මාධ්‍යයන් වල ඇත්තේ සම්පූර්ණයෙන් ම අසා සිටීමට අපහසු සිංහල භාෂාවක් ය. බහුතරයක් ම ෆැන්ටසිකරණයට සහ වාණිජකරණයට ලක් වූ විද්‍යුත් නාළිකා වන අතර ඒවායෙන් සරල සුගම සිංහල භාෂාවක් වර්තමානයේ දී බලාපොරොත්තු වීම ද ප්‍රායෝගික නොවන කාරණාවකි. භාෂාව හැසිරවීමට බැරෑරුම් සහ නිතර අසන්නට නොලැබෙන වචන භාවිතාව අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය ම නොවේ. නමුත් භාවිතාවේ යොදවන බහුතරයක් වූ අනෙකුත් සියළු වචන නිවැරදිව ව්යාකරණානුකූලව හැසිරවීම ප්‍රසිද්ධ මාධ්‍ය ඔස්සේවත් පවත්වා ගැනීම භාෂාවේ උන්නතිය උදෙසා ඉතාමත් යෝග්‍ය වේ. නැතහොත් වර්තමානයේ පමණක් නොව අනාගතයේ දී පවා උපදින දරුවා ග්‍රහණය කර ගන්නා මුල්ම වචන බිඳුණු සිංහලක් විය හැක.

සිදු විය යුත්තේ කියන්නා කෙසේ කීවත්, පල වී ඇති දේ කෙසේ වුවත් අසන්නා හෝ පාඨකයා සිහි බුද්ධියෙන් ඇසෙනා කියවනා සියළු භාෂා ව්‍යවහාරයන් එළෙසින් ම ක්‍රියාවෙහි නොයොදවා සිටීමට විචාරශීලී වීමයි. සිදු නොවන්නේ ද මෙය ම ය. භාෂාව ද රැල්ලකට හසු වී ඇත. සබුද්ධික පාඨකයන් සහ ශ්‍රාවකයන් සමාජයෙන් වඳවී යමින් පවතී. මෙය වැළැක්වීමට කළ යුත්තේ අවිචාරවත් භාෂා හසුරුවන්නන්ගේ විලාශයන් අනුකරණය නොකර, කාලෙන් කාලෙට එන රැලි වලට හසු නොවී, හුදෙක් ම ඒවා එක් කනකින් අසා අනෙකෙන් පිට කර හරය පමණක් උකහා ගැනීම ම ය.

Rich and Poor

We think we have a better life than others or we are trying to be more prosperous with what we earn day by day, but still we complain each other for the mistakes and faults that cause the loss of that satisfaction and comforts we earn even by a needle point.

Some forget their roots and try to claim themselves as rich like they have descended the land from heavens. They may be having six figure salaries that make them so proud or kings in their whole generation. But they have no true satisfaction other than something they have earned hard days and nights to foresee the future with filled wealth and reputation which dissolve one day.

The biggest difference between the rich and the poor is that. The poor is quite happier than the richest since they have nothing to lose or protect, but the simplicity in life with enough comforts and aspirations become their biggest strengths compared to those who work day and night spending less time for their beloved ones and care about own people.

Life becomes easy when there are less responsibilities to handle and less people to deal with. But a family should be the ultimate goal for everybody which must not only be tended with monetized comforts that may equip the four walls. Being rich makes people reach the limits that they have never thought before, while those limits being risen by the amount they earn. And that cycle cannot be discontinued if there is a hunger for notes and cents.

Therefore never blame for losing any comfort, never feel ashamed of having a bad history or roots with poverty. Always note to yourself that your character will be tarnished only when you forget your roots and try to live like a king forgetting the levels below you.

Congratulations! Sri Lanka. Though you couldn't bring the World Cup back to your mother, you have become the greatest champions whose name is carved in golden lettering on the World Cup. It is quite difficult to be the champions and also the best losers. So we are the champions from those who have lost so far in this series. Because we know you guys have the biggest strength compared to any other. The only thing is that this day is not for us but for somebody else. We have lit the crackers to mark your victory for getting into the finals and for the victory you have achieved being the best competitors even this day. 'Cause we know that if it were held here you could have lifted the World Cup. Wish you all the very best for all the Lion Hearts who have been battling for the victory to the top most level.

We had a hope that you would bring the glory back to the country. But when it is not fulfilled it means not that we have lost that glorious moment from our hands. Competitions are everywhere. But the best part of them is to share either the victory or the defeat in a humble manner. We are not going to burn out our lions' dens. Because we are the only nation that practices the hospitality, non-violence and the kindness in the general sense since our birth. It is not a big shame to lose for a neighboring nation but it was an opportunity to show the world the talents of this shining pearl and our Lions.

Whatever you bring the country tomorrow, we don't care, as our hearts have not broken yet for just another defeat. Try until you win. Because all the good work can be done only by passing thorn-filled paths and the hard work. It means not that the winners have reached there effortlessly. Otherwise you shouldn't be in this finale being a competitive threat to the other.

Thank you very much for making our nation proud farther once again by giving away great memories in this glorious and historical battle. Games always teach us one great thing. Those who lose someday, will rise again with the victory held in their fists.
